Attention current 5th & 6th grade boys basketball players: Enjoy an opportunity to get ready for the 2025- 2026 Travel Basketball Season!  Next season’s 6th & 7th Grade Boys Travel Coaches will lead players through different stations highlighting the skills that players can work on over the spring and summer months. This fun, fast paced clinic will focus on the fundamentals of the game: Dribbling, footwork, passing, rebounding, defense and shooting techniques. All participants should come ready to improve their skills, meet the coaches and learn more about tryouts! Looking to introduce your little one to the game of basketball? Join Enfield Recreation for this FUN, introductory program! Open to children ages 3 - 4, as well as 5 year olds who are NOT yet in Kindergarten. Facilitated by our energetic stafff, each week youngsters will participate in warm-ups, skills work and fun group games. This PARENT AND CHILD program is tailored to our youngest athletes, and is a great first step into the world of basketball! Participant & parent should wear sneakers, athletic attire and bring a water bottle labeled with their first and last name. Whether you are learning the sport for the first time or are looking to improve your skills and knowledge, this clinic is perfect for you! Participants will be introduced to and taught the fundamentals of field hockey. Led by Enfield High School’s Varsity field hockey coach, Amy Novak, instructors will cover stick and ball handling, passing and receiving, shooting and game rules. The first half of the program will focus on skills and drills, while the second half will be game play. Participants should wear sneakers or cleats and must bring shin guards, a mouth guard, a field hockey stick and a water bottle.
