Babysitter Safety Course
This comprehensive course is intended to teach age appropriate skills necessary to care for children of all ages using team babysitting, mother’s helper and individual babysitting concepts. This course focuses on safety with an emphasis on prevention. Other topics covered include handwashing, diapering, bottle feeding, personal safety, interview skills and more. Basic first aid, including adult and child CPR, will be covered.
Upon passing the written and skills testing, participants will receive a 2-year first aid and CPR certification. Participants will also receive a booklet, handouts and Babysitter Safety Certificate. Participants should bring a nut-free bagged lunch & snack and water bottle. Limit: 14.
