Children On The Pool Deck Learning How To Dive
Swimming lessons are an essential part of a child's education. Being able to swim properly increases confidence, which makes time in the water a safe and enjoyable experience. Our Progressive Swim Lessons are taught by certified American Red Cross Lifeguards, with an enthusiasm and dedication to helping children achieve their swimming goals.
Progressive lessons are for children 5 years old and up.  Swim lessons are offered Monday through Friday for two week sessions.  Children must pass all skills in the current level to move on to the next level.  For the best progression, children should attend every class, if possible.  Goggles are recommended, though we do not allow those that cover the nose. To determine proper class placement, please review the level descriptions.

Dragonfish: Standing shallow dive, tread water for 3 minutes, survival float for 3 minutes, perform basic rescue tube skills, swim crawlstroke/backstroke/breaststroke and butterfly for 2 laps, coordinated breaststroke and butterfly.

Note: Dragonfish is the sixth and final level of the Progressive Swim Lessons program.
