1st & 2nd Grade Instructional Basketball Program (2025) • Register • View Cart •

A co-ed instructional program, for boys and girls in grades 1 & 2, will teach the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and encouraging environment.  Participants will work in teams, to learn the fundamentals of basketball.  Weeks 1 - 2, will consist of skills work.  Weeks 3 - 8, will consist of a short skills portion followed by a scrimmage for the remainder of the session. 
 
The program will consist of eight, 60 minute sessions.  This is a drop off program.  Limited spectators will be allowed into the gym during the last week of the program.  Volunteer coaches are needed to lead teams through skills work and game play. Recreation staff will be on hand to assist coaches as needed. Registration will be limited to 120 participants (60 per grade) and will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. This program is open to Enfield residents only. Registration includes player tshirt.
 
If you have any questions about this program, please contact the Recreation Office BEFORE registering your child. Children MUST be registered in their current grade level.
