Progressive Group Swim Lessons (Summer 2026) - TIGERFISH (level two)

Swimming lessons are an essential part of a child's education. Being able to swim properly increases confidence, which makes time in the water a safe and enjoyable experience. Our Progressive Swim Lessons are taught by certified American Red Cross Lifeguards, with an enthusiasm and dedication to helping children achieve their swimming goals. 

Classes are for children 5 – 12 years old as of the first class.  Each session will have eight students and are offered in one-week sessions, Monday-Friday.  Children must be able to participate independently, follow instructor directions, and have a willingness to go in the water.  Students may wear goggles, which do not cover their nose (no mask style) during lessons. 

Children must pass all skills in the current level to move on to the next level. For the best progression, children should attend every class, if possible.  To determine proper class placement, please review the level descriptions.

Tigerfish: Jump in the deep end, swim 1 lap of the pool, swim 1 lap with a bubble/barbell and noodle, front float and back float, 10 bobs.

Note: Tigerfish is the second level of the Progressive Swim Lessons program.
